It works. It took me 2 days for the warts to be removed but be careful not to put it on overnight or long because I’ve burnt my penis skin and there’s a large pinkish/reddish area over where the 3 warts I burnt off, it’s been 5 days and it hasn’t really strunk in size at all, it’s very noticeable and it’s looks way worse than the 3 small warts I had in the first place, I’ve been applying vitamin E oil and coconut oil to speed up the processing time with a band aid, I just hope and pray this is not a permanent scar, I wish people would’ve had said this before I tried. I would’ve just waited for the doctor to freeze them off.

I've struggled with genital warts for some time now. After treating them and them being gone they came back after a five years. Apple Cider Vinegar does work, but not always. Here is my experience:

1. The best result I had was from a dermatologist burning them off with heat (not freezing them off). After burning them off, the dermatologist applied some sort of acid to the area for a few seconds. This was painful, but 100% effective. In his words "it's all about 100% cellular destruction of the infected cells". Which is why he burned them off plus acid. Note, burning them off without a doctor is not something I'd try.

2. Apple Cider Vinegar + home freezing kit takes care of most of them, but occasionally they came back. For me, it's about 90% effective.

3. Freezing them off is what has been the least effective, like it hardly works is expensive and hurts. I'll never try this again.

My current home remedy is clean the area, then swab down with ACV for a few minutes, then use the freezing kit, then dip a piece of cotton in ACV and tape in place for a few hours. I repeat this daily till its gone. After its no longer visible I continue applying salicylic acid to the area for a week just in case there are a few infected cells hanging around that I can't see. Hope this works or else its back to the dermatologist.

I'm on week 3 of treating a really big wart on the base of my penis. The first week seemed very promising but progress slowed in week 2 and changed my methods for week 3 and now things are really rolling.

first week- cleaned with hydrogen peroxide, then applied organic "mother" apple cider vinegar (brags brand from Sobeys) with a cotton ball and a bandaid for the night only. In the mornings id clean with hydrogen peroxide and reapply a little bit of Apple Cider Vinegar with a q tip then leave un covered and go to work. I did notice the wart turn super white and after a few days a few black dots. Super swollen, wart looked twice as big.

week 2- the white stuff is very slowly peeling off, no more black dots just white with a very swollen bump. The wart cracked a bit from jerking off and I stopped treatment and use polysporin. Continued treatment a few days later.

week 3- the results were still really slow, so I upped the treatment. I found the hydrogen peroxide was really harsh so I stopped using it all together.

New method- clean wart in morning with soap and water, dry and pat dry out the water (kind shrinks after draining the liquid) then I apply apple cider vinegar with a q tip for about 5 minutes til the wart soaks it up and gets big again. The I fold toilet paper and soak that and apply it to the wart and bandage it up for the day. After work I repeat the cleaning, soaking, and bandage until bed time where I do it all again.

now the wart is finally shrinking, more and more white is removed every morning. Theres some blood showing up which is making me happy. I'm going to keep doing this method until I see no more white when I apply acid.

I almost gave up treatment thinking the wart wasn't responding because of how swollen it was, I'm glad I upped the treatment, once that whitewashed away I knew it was working. Dont freak out if your wart swells up, it's full of acid and its part of the process. I wish I could share pics of my progress because I was seriously confused about when to stop treatment. I haven't stopped treatment yet but I'm hoping a few more days of this and ill be ok, still no scab.

Reading the stories from this forum has really helped me through this, thank you everyone who wrote about your experience. This was a very traumatic experience for me. I developed severe anxiety and lost about 10 pounds. I had no appetite and worried constantly, had the shakes. Finally seeing progress after 3 weeks has me hopeful.

Ill give and update in 2 more weeks

I've tried acv and it seems the warts come off but my skin around the wart region is so damaged, it quite yellow as it has a inflamation and it has some black spots even where I didn't have warts. Is it normal? I'm scared and asking myself if it's gonna naturally heal.

I have a wart on my pelvic area. It took quite a while before it became black. The burned skin is now gone, leaving an open wound. However, there's a white small bump-like in the center and I dont know if it's a skin or a part of the wart that didn't burn. Should I wait for it to heal or just continue to apply apple cider? Any reply would be much appreciated. Thank you! :)

I was diagnosed with HPV in April. I was told I wouldn't get warts because of the strain detected from my Pap smear, but I'm very positive I have them so I think somewhere along the line I got another strain or had it to begin with. I tried ACV and they turned white instantly. I have them around my vulva, and I'm concerned I may have them internally since I have had thicker discharge, but I don't want to stick ACV up there until I'm sure from the Dr.. I initially thought I had a yeast infection because I was itchy, and the medicine did actually help, but only temporarily and I went through two rounds of miconazole (the first round cured a yeast infection but the itching I still experienced was warts forming I think. They are small). I'm starting to drink ACV again because I never had the issues with warts when I was drinking it constantly due to stomach problems (it truly helps with GERD and other digestive issues from my experience). Along with ACV, I am taking: Vitamins C, E, and D3, garlic supplements, vitamin B12, folic acid, probiotics, and a green tea supplement. I'm actually even considering getting off birth control to maybe help heal myself.

I'm diluting the ACV before applying it, but I think it's causing some mild sores and I am bleeding a little in some areas, but it's only barely and is only seen on a q-tip when I dab the area. Unless these sores were from new warts trying to show up but I got them before they formed, or I burned healthy skin... I'm just going to let myself heal some. Pretty much the entire area except a few spots turns white, but I want to take it easy so I don't cause damage. It totally got rid of a smaller wart in a day and I only applied the ACV for maybe 20 minutes full strength. I was examining myself yesterday and noticed a cluster of a few (suprisingly in the shape of a flower haha) and they were definitely smaller today, but then one showed a little bit of growth, but I'm not super concerned about that. They are just in really awkward spots to hold a cotton ball on overnight, so I just go for like 20-30 min at a time. I think it will work in due time, and my itching is already much much better. If I didn't do a thorough examination of myself I wouldn't have even noticed I had them and would have assumed it was another yeast infection. I really do hope the thing ACV will help, and I'm really trying to get over the fact that I have HPV. I've been very depressed about it lately, so I hope it all clears up soon.

Anyone else have this issue? So I put the ACV on my warts. 3 of the 5 actually worked and went away. There's one or two that are feisty and turned swollen and looked almost like it was infected, warm to the touch and reddish around the outside with pain...does anyone know what this could be? Should I get antibiotics or just hold off on anymore ACV for a few days...

It works, but might not be an end-all solution...

Bottom line is that it works. Follow the directions outlined in the other posts and you'll have great affect on your warts. That being said, the ACV doesn't kill the virus itself, so new warts may appear as you are treating. I've been using the ACV method for close to a month now, and have believe I have killed the majority of my warts, though several are still lingering. I was diagnosed initially in Feb 2018, received 3 cryo treatments from my derm about 3 weeks apart from each other, but decided to take matters into my own hands after new warts appeared on the shaft of my penis after the third cryo treatment. I treated those, but during ACV treatment more appeared. It's been a bit of a wack-a-mole experience, but at least I know how to kill them. Nights 7 and 8 of treatment were the most painful, but that means it's working. Like everyone else said, it's highly gratifying when you wipe the head off a wart with a cotton ball and hydrogen peroxide after a shower. I'm praying that one day soon they will all disappear for good and I can start to return to a normal life.. Good luck to all!

Hello all, I have question.

I am putting 100% ACV (Bragg's w/mother) onto what I think are genital warts. Day 1 and 2 I put it on with cotton ball and bandaid for about 6 hours. Day 3 (today) I only did about 2 hours since the skin around is getting raw. 1 turned white, stayed white and then turned black. It is currently black, but has not fallen off yet as of day 3. The other smaller warts ( or what I think are warts) turned white all 3 days, but they don't stay white, they turn back to flesh color within a couple hour of me removing the cotton ball. they have clearly also never turned black or fallen off. Is it possible these are not warts then? My other thought is that they could be little bumps/scars from shaving my shaft. All of the warts or potential warts are at the bottom of the shaft on 1 particular side of my penis. for a bit I just thought I was a slopping shaver and was cutting myself in the same spot ( I bleed when I shave my face too). but something made me do the vinegar test and they did turn white. Thanks for any thoughts!

Thank you all for sharing your ecperiences.

I recently had a growth of GW and within a week of ACV the visible cauliflower shaped GW, turned white, then black and just left the skin.

However the spots where the warts were are slightly grey and I am wondering if I need to be continuing the treatment? Its definitely the same skin colour as the rest of my genitals.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

V
