Last night I came down with a horrendous case of food poisoning. Your suggestion to use apple cider vinegar saved me. I wish I had seen it earlier. I'm still down and achy with diarrhea, but the vomiting has stopped. All night those two things happened simultaneously every time ugh Thank you for your site.

I got a small bout of food poisoning and was down for the count for the whole day with cramps in my stomach, headache and feeling tired. My wife and her mother are family and internal medicine physicians. They saw me, asked a bunch of questions and told me to let it pass. So disappointed. I have 2 doctors in family and they couldn't help me except to let it pass. I was so hungry and couldn't eat. woke up at midnight in more pain and couldn't sleep. I saw the vinegar and honey remedy on-line and my mom swears by it. I tried it and 10 minutes later, I vomited and felt much better. Drinking fluids and going back to bed. I will drink vinegar and honey in morning. I suspect I will continue to feel better over next 24 hours. What a relief!!!

This really worked for me. Thank you so much. After ingesting some rancid fish oil I experienced terrible stomach cramps, chills and diarrhea. My wife gave me Bway's recipe

Drank about 2-3 oz diluted by about 6oz of water (Diluted until it was just tolerable to drink).

and within about 20 min the cramps and chills were gone and diarrhea reduced to where I can rest now.

Wow! Woke up with stomach cramps. 3 hours later discovered the apple cider suggestion. Drank about 2-3 oz diluted by about 6oz of water (Diluted until it was just tolerable to drink). Within 10 minutes cramps were gone and was able to sleep. Woke up feel pretty good, just a little tightness, or more accurately stomach muscle fatigue from all the cramping. Great home remedy! Makes complete sense when you think about it!

Didn't cure me either :(

made me throw up violently within 15 minutes of taking it all 3 times which I suppose is good for getting the bugs out. I was hoping for the cure all .. Just have to wait it out ..

I dont know if this is true about Apple Cider Vinegar but I just drank 2 tablespoons of it in water after having food poisoning since yesterday. The cramps are the worst I have ever had in my life ( and I have had bad ones). After drinking it my cramps seem to have calmed a bit but still feel the pain somewhat in my stomach. Hope this works and thank you for all the info on this site. It is so useful!

Started using ACV & honey (1 tbs Apple Cider Vinegar +1tsp wild honey) 2 x daily for acid reflux. 2 weeks later reflux gone. Got off my regimen and 2 months later got salmonella, more than likely from contact with my rabbits, ducks, or chickens. 2 days of misery and 15 lbs lighter, I remembered the ACV & honey. Within 20 minutes I was feeling better, 4 hours later I still had gas, but safe to pass! Now I take my medicine every morning and my BM's are regular, strain free, and so non messy? that it only requires 1 piece of paper to do my "paperwork" I now give the ACV to my critters daily too. (Sorry guys, no honey) Wonder if others have had similar results. Thanks for your most helpful site.

Tonight I think some meat was bad that I cooked. Within a couple hours I felt like death. I wasn't sure whether to sit on the toilet or lean over it, if you know what I mean. I just felt like I needed to puke it up but couldn't. Luckily I had just bought some raw organic apple cider vinegar. I drank 2 Tbs with water and literally within minutes I puked all of my contaminated dinner up and I now feel so relieved I could run a marathon. I believe Apple Cider Vinegar does just what your body needs it to do. Seriously a miracle cure right here.

I had food poisoning symptoms for roughly 48 hours (initial nausea, diarrhea) and while it was not getting worse, it was not getting better. I finally stumbled on this website, took 2 tablespoon of organic ACV w honey and am starting to feel the tide turn already (2 hours later). I will update to the extent this trajectory changes, but thank you SO much all for the tip...I was starting to go a bit nutty!

Apple-Cider vinegar did work for food poisoning! My stomach pains went from a level 10 to a level 4 in about 10 minutes. I diluted two tablespoons in warm water and put a little honey in it. I was able to sleep during the night and woke up with no pain at all.
