I have had DDD for ten years, with a disc operation three years ago. I take 15,000 mg Vitamin C daily for pain and it helps a lot, vitamin C replaces collagen and relieves pain above 10,000 mg. I have taken as high as 20,000 mg a day. There is all kinds of research on the subject if you are interested but not from our present medical community. There never has been a problem with high dose C for any problem if you just do the research. It takes time for it to take effect but it really works.
