I was stricken by a dormant boil/stapf infection (on the side of my nose) last year, went to the doctor, took a course of antibiotics. It got smaller, but never totally went away. A few days ago, it came back with a vengeance after the first appearance of the rainy season. It got hot, red, swollen, and painful. I freaked out because I do not like to use antibiotics unless absolutely life or death necessary. I immediately did a search for a home remedy, and the consensus seemed to e turmeric. I was skeptical initially, but desperation won out. I made turmeric capsules, and popped one ASAP. I noticed the redness and 'heat' subsidided in a few hours. It started draining at night, I put a fresh aloe vera leaf on the raw part, and smeared that with turmeric, too. I kept taking the turmeric capsules with my three meals a day, and today 9day three), it is almost completely healed. I am excited about this, but concerned about the most effective way to prevent future outbreaks without resorting to an extremely bleak diet. I eat healthy, organically, with an emphasis on maintaing alkalinity (organic cultured yogurt, kombucha tea, white tea, golden seal). I do eat crap once in a blue moon, and I am happy about the results of this turmeric. Rock on with your frock on.

... Last year I started to get boils about three to four a month. Started to take turmeric (capsul form)it took care of the boils. I've been taking one capsul every day since and not had any outbreaks until I take a break for a few days from all supplements, vitamins and the turmeric. I then feel a boil coming on and resume my regimine and feel fine after a couple of days.

I have been suffering from boils on my face on and off since I was a teenager, and there has never been anything that could be done except wait for them to go down. They have been so bad that I don't want to leave the house. With a new one on my forehead that was growing and becoming extremely painful, I thought I would do some research to see if there was any kind of heat treatment that would help. I found this website, and tried the turmeric treatment. It is the second day and the boil has come to a head. This never happened before. I would squeeze and puncture the area, but nothing ever came of it. Thank you so much for sharing this safe, easy, and cheap remedy that really works! Now I don't have to look like the elephant man for the next two weeks!

Checked this site for boil help and tried tumeric. It works just as the other posts indicated. After one day, pain and swelling subsides. After a few more days, newer boil gone, older stubborn boil 95 percent gone. I took capsules. Highly recommended.

I was looking online for a natural remedy for boils and came across your site with very little hope but to go the doctor. OMG!! I tried the turmeric powder in a glass of warm water 3x's a day and after the first day seen results. I have had this boil on the upper part of my gential area for about a month after suffering from a yeast infection. It has popped and drained 3x's and still would not heal until I started taking the Turmeric and using Neosporin ointment. This is great!! In the future I will look for a more natural healing process versus running straight to the doctor's office. Thanks again for giving me this option..

I read the testimonials and was convinced to try turmeric for a boil. I had just had one lanced and packed with gauze, and had to take a quadruple dose of antibiotics for ten days, despite which I still developed a fever from the infection. by the ninth day the packing strip was out and the incision was healing but the swelling and tenderness were coming back; either the same boil had a recess isolated from the initial drain or another one had formed in almost exactly the same place. when that boil was almost as big as the first one, and still no sign of coming to a head despite warm compresses daily, i tried drawing salve, to no effect. but it felt somewhat better after one dose of turmeric, and after one full day of taking it, the boil had almost disappeared. the pain is almost gone - only when i press in certain areas do i feel sore. the swelling is totally gone. however, the boil never did come to a head or drain so i am a bit concerned that it has not fully retreated. i am going to keep taking the turmeric and hope it continues to prevent future boils! as a side effect, i did experience diarrhea today. but i am hoping the anti-inflammatory properties will be able to help my colitis and eczema in the future - i wish i had known about this years ago! It's about the cheapest remedy you could ask for, if you buy in bulk. i have been mixing the turmeric with water and lemon juice, but i'm eager to try other ways. it has stained my toothbrush orange :)

Turmeric is a Miracle. Yes, Yes!! I have had suffering from boils for 3 years plus. A recurring one under my right arm (very painful) and several on buttocks. Went to a few doctors but nothing worked to stop them coming. Recently I read on this site and I gave a try to turmeric cure. I should ssy the results were surprising. Within days the presistent nasty boils started to heal and so far keeping on good consumption of turmeric they didn't came back. Alex

I had a terrible 2 inches boil last week. At first i thought it was a lymph node.So I tried AVC. No effect. I had high fever during the 4th night, so I decided to see a doctor in the morning. When I was about to leave my cousin check me at she said its a boil. So I check out this site to look for remedies for boil and TURMERIC POWDER is the answer. The size of the boil decrease from approximately 2 to 1 inch in just 2 days. I read about the turmeric remedy in August 2007, and decided to try it. I went to GNC and purchase the turmeric capsules. I took 5 the first day, and 3 or 4 capsules days following for approximately 2 weeks and it is gone but a red flat place. I continue to take 2 a day so maybe the boils will not return. I also found the turmeric at Wal-Mart for only $6.00 or $7.00. That's alot cheaper then the health food store. Hope this helps someone to decide. I also took 3 tbs. of ACV (apple cider vinegar) and 2 tbs. of honey mixed in a small juice glass every morning for a couple of days. I refrigerate overnight. The next morning, get a small glass of water, hold your nose and drink the ACV (apple cider vinegar), and glass of water and you won't taste it at all. This does wonders.

I read alot about how Turmeric can cure a boil so I went and purchased a bottle of 400 MG of Turmeric for $12.00. I took two a day for a week and it did nothing! My boils are worse. My one boil went from 1 to 5 now. Did I add they are larger now? I also tried Castor Oil treatments and Ichmathol. Ichmathol did bring one boil to a head and it did drain but it didn't touch the other ones. I do seem worse since I took Turmeric. I say contact your DR. for any kind of swollen lymph nodes because this can be fatal!

summer I began getting boils, first a large carbuncle on my left hip which was a series of 7 (!) boils, I went to the doctor for two rounds of antibiotics. I got three more, each lower than the last down my leg, and after the last one on my knee found this site and started taking the turmeric. I haven't had one for a month, but a few days ago i got another one, this time on the right side of my ribcage. I have been taking turmeric, putting tea tree oil and neosporin on it, and it is definitely way smaller and less painful than the others, but still a boil. I am so frustrated, but have not gone back to the doctor for antibiotics this time. I am hoping it will go away quickly, but it appears to have gotten stlightly worse, although not golf ball sized. I plan to keep up with the turmeric and direct applications and will see how long it takes. Any futher suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I had a very VERY painful boil at my groin and it was absolutely killing me. I could feel the infection growing and THROBBING. Someone told me to put Vick's Vapor Rub on it in order for it to open. So I did this. At the same time I went on the internet and found your site. I read all about Turmeric. I rushed out and got some. I put a heaping teaspoon in a drink and drank it that afternoon and that same evening (2 doses). When I woke up the next morning, my boil was half the size, NOT throbbing and draining. Your site is a life saver. Now I'm taking it for its anti inflammation properties and it is helping my arthritis. Thank you so much...

I always get boils, nothing ever helps. Have had them all lanced (4). After getting the last one lanced, which hurt more than anything I have every experienced (it was on my bikini line were the fold is on my upper thigh) I now noticed that another boils appeared on the scar of the last one. I absolutely refuse to have anything ever lanced again. I found your website, don't know how. Bought Turmeric mixed it with plain water into a paste, applied it for 15 minutes. The next day it starting oozing, gross, but good news! No lancing required! I am so happy. Although I cannot stand the taste of it, I will be drinking plenty of it this week. Thanks so much, I am truly grateful to your website! Good luck everyone

Worked Temporarily

Turmeric is great in the beginning for boils, But, please note that it does take more doses more frequently once they continue to come back in time !I have been getting them 2004 and each summer they get harder and harder to treat ! The first year they were surgically removed because they were so deep and also treated with an antibiotic called Minocycline. This helped temporarily, but once when I was out of town on a weekend, and unable to find medical attention, I tried the turmeric cure from this site. It was miraculous for about 9 mos., but then they came back the next summer extremely aggressive !! It took me larger doses,(2 heaping tablespoons 3 times daily), and they were taking longer to heal, or would just stay down in size without going away for weeks. That much turmeric will have your stomach feeling quite sick along with diarhia !! I finally went back to the doctor and back on the Minocycline, but it also took longer than the last time using it to clear up the staph infection. My son is almost 4, and he too suffers with them, but his immune system is much stronger than mine. He is autistic and the taste of the turmeric will make him vomit, so when he gets one coming out, I just cook something for him with the turmeric in it ! Preferably something in red gravy, (like spagetti & meat sauce). He has never been on antibiotics and I'm trying to keep it that way, but as soon as the turmeric cures one of his boils, another one surfaces in another place on his little body. The doctor told me that it is getting so out-of-hand that pretty soon there will be nothing they can do for it. He told me that the staph that is out there now is a product from our own modern medicine - a combination of many antibiotics produced that have built up a resistency and immunity to everything they have to fight it. It is a growing and most aggresive bacteria that becomes increasingly immune to anything. Sorry to say it, but he may very well be right. I wish the turmeric would continue to work for me, but the staph is starting to get immune to it as well. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated !!

I told a close relative about tumeric as a treatment for boils. He works in a prison and is exposed to all manner of nastiness. He has suffered from boils for many years and was complaining about two more that were forming on his thigh. So I purchased tumeric capsules and told him to take 2 caps 3 times a day. A week later he called to thank me for the advise and said it worked better than anything the doctors had done for him. This site truly rocks!!!!!

I have never been more amazed in my life. Several weeks ago I had two moles removed on my breasts. One was large and required stitches, the other was very tiny and under my breast. The large one healed beautifully, but wouldn't you know that the small one got infected. This teeny little thing the size of a pin point swelled to the size of a dime and got red, hot, painful and swollen. I've never had a sore that wouldn't heal before. I tried everything, alcohol, peroxide, antibiotic salve. Nothing seemed to help. I tried draining it several times, but nothing came out, and it only got worse. I thought maybe some kind of polstice might help, so I googled "natural remedy abscess" and found your site. I thought that this had to be too good to be true, but you weren't charging anything, so I thought I should try it. I went to my pantry and got the turmeric I use sometimes to make curry. Worst thing I ever tasted, but within two hours the sore started itching. Up to that point it had only hurt. By the next morning the sorness was gone, the redness was gone, the sore was half its previous size, and it had scabbed over. I didn't believe in miracles until now. I don't know what's in that stuff, but I'm telling everyone I know.

I developed a small red area on my abdomen that grew into a boil type area. I attempted to lance it and made matters worse. After pushing on it, I developed an area the size of my hand that became red and warm to the touch. The boil area grew to a large grape sized area. It was becoming very painful. It had a yellowish green plug that I couldn't remove. I put charcoal on it several times. After about 1 week I was getting really worried and knew I was developing a serious problem. I love this site and found the turmeric remedy. The plug came out just prior to using the turmeric. The plug was the size of a pencil eraser and the whole was at least an inch deep and an inch in diameter. I figured I would give the turmeric a day or two before going to the doctors. I put charcoal again on the area hopping to draw any remaining poisons from it and took two self filled 00 capsules of turmeric. I was amazed even after that first dose. It has been less then a week and it is almost completely gone. I am not sure if it was a spider bite or a boil but as a nurse I have never seen a wound heal so quickly.

I can't say WOW enough. Turmeric worked wonders for my boil. I had boils as a child but had not had any more until last year, 2006. It lasted a month and I still have a scar and discolored skin on my nose from it. One year later, here it came again. It had been raining for 3 days and I had been at the hospital for a mamogram. Within about 8 hours of leaving the hospital the overwelming pain began. There was no doubt in my mind as to what was happening. I was spiritually led to your web site and read about Turmeric. I couldn't buy any that night and suffered greatly. By morning my nose was red and swollen and so sore. I got some Turmeric capsules right away. Within 4 hours the pain began subsiding and now after 48 hours the boil is gone !!! THANK YOU Is there any harm in my continuing to take Turmeric once a day? I'm afraid to quit.

Okay, at the age of 55 never in my life had a boil and couldn't understand what the fuss was about. Recently developed two boils under my right arm pit and was able to cure one of them which was the size of an olive. This second one, the size of a pea seemed to have a mind all of its own and no matter what I tried, such as toothpaste, hydrogen peroxide, witch hazel, campho-phenique, Draw Out Salve, Neosporin, aspirin made into a paste and applied, you name it didn't work. Finally after reading on your website about Tumeric, I went to GNC here in Westwood, California and bought a jar for $16 and popped two 400mg pills. This morning the agonizing pain that I've had for about two weeks now with this little monster the size of a pea, improved! I'm going to continue taking one tablet a day for the rest of my life. I never realized how painful a boil could be and hope I never experience it again. Will keep you posted Laura

I was told to go to urgent care. That same day I found this website. Read about turmeric and was so eager to try it I left work early and drove to a health food store. Bought some in capsule form, maybe 430mgs? Took it twice a day and within 3 days the boil was gone. Got some relief in the first night. Was amazed and so grateful it worked. I will keep some on hand forever as these thigh bolis have cursed me for years. THANK YOU TURMERIC.

I tried a lot of the remedies on the site just from old wife tales: hot towels, peroxide, iodine, and neosporin. All of which helped bring the boil to a head. It even burst a bit but no pain relief or timely drainage. I then came across your site and read bout the TURMERIC remedy. Went to SEVENANDAH bought some bulk powder, mixed it with H2O, took a root beer chaser and went to bed. DID I MENTION I WAS IN INTOLERABLE PAIN? By morning the surface pain had dissipated, swelling is down, it is not as tender and drainage. WE HAVE ACHIEVED DRAINAGE. After just one dose. In all honestly I didn't think it would work. But this has turnout to be the best $.77 cent investment of my life!!!!!! Thank God and thank Goodness for your site. It really saved me. It is unfortunate some don't experience the same results. Maybe they have a resistance to natural meds due to ingesting too many western meds?

Since I was a teen, I've fought with boils. Then I was diagnosed with Hidradenitis Suppurativa about a year ago. My doctor simply gave me the diagnosis and left the room, giving me no information whatsoever. I resolved that I would find a way to at least ease living with this disease. I started looking around and that is when I came upon your site. I tried the turmeric cure and it works! I also had a bit of trouble with sores remaining after a boil would drain. I mixed a little turmeric with honey and applied it as a salve. It heals up in no time! Thanks to all of you, this site changed my life!

All I can say is WOW!!! I had a small sebaceous cyst just below my earlobe for a long time, months, maybe even years. It never bothered me, it was just a small pea-sized lump that was hardly even noticeable. Around the middle of last week, I woke up one morning to find that the small lump had become inflamed, tender and nearly doubled in size. I spent two days putting acne medication (benzoyl peroxide and retinol) on the affected area, to no avail. I began taking vitamin c, garlic oil, echinacea/goldenseal and vitamin d in an attempt to boost my immune system, but I still wasn't seeing any noticeable improvement.

By day 3 or 4, the small painless pea-sized lump had become an extremely painful abscess nearly the size of a golf-ball. I hate going to doctors partly because I don't have health insurance but I also disagree with a lot of western medicine's habit of treating the symptoms instead of the causes, but I recognized that an infection like this could potentially get worse or spread so I made an appointment on Friday for the following Monday to have the boil lanced and get on antibiotics.

That Friday afternoon, I kept researching other alternatives online and stumbled across your site. I figured with all the positive feedback, turmeric was worth a try.

WOW! Within 24 hours, the boil had broken and was beginning to drain. Now, on Monday, I've cancelled my doctor's appointment and I'm still taking 3-4 500mg Turmeric capsules 3 times a day to continue the healing process, but I'm grinning ear to ear because it's now almost completely gone. The pain is totally gone, the abscess has gone down at least 75% in size, and I saved myself a couple hundred dollars in doctor's bills with a $10 bottle of ____________ brand turmeric curcumin capsules.

You and your website are a godsend! Thank you so much, I will preach the value of turmeric for a long time to come. I'm hoping if I continue to take it on a regular basis it will help clear up my persistent back-acne as well. Thank you thank you thank you sooo much!!!! Blessings and peace to you!

Well, I didn't believe it was possible, but turmeric worked. It has been a full week since the 35mm or so rock-hard lump showed up in my groin. I went for the turmeric remedy. I've been taking turmeric tablets three times a day for over a week, plus washing the area with antibacterial soap, and applying tea tree oil. I used the tea tree oil three times a day the first few days, then dropped down to once a day. A lump that normally would have stayed around and caused me pain and discomfort for up to a month was 80% gone after four days, and is 99% gone now. I have to really feel around for it-it's about the size and depth of a lentil. It occurred to me that I had a mammogram and very messy ultrasound a little less than a week before the boil and boil, jr. showed up. Think about it-these procedures required equipment to be aggressively pressed into my underarms and upper chest-lymph areas? Anyway, I'm thrilled that the turmeric worked. I still can't believe it. I used to get boils and cysts about once a year, but I've been getting them several times a year for the past 18 months or so. I hope that this remedy continues to work.

Hello! I am writing to express my gratitude at finding this site with its Turmeric cure for boils. On June 10 or 11 I had the first hard lump of a boil in my armpit. I am 30 and have never suffered boils in my life. Not knowing what it was I assumed it was an in grown hair. I had flahes of fever and as it grew it felt like a burn. The boil that resulted was something so painful and depression inducing I was really at the end of my rope. I felt so disgusting and low. This one boil became two..and after the horror of the draining and dressings another even bigger developed higher on the same armpit...It was at that time I stumbled on this site by "google-ing" the words "cures boils". Luckily I had Turmeric in the pantry. It tastes very dry, dusty, chalky and bitter, but I didn't care I overdosed on it! Within minutes I felt the pain literally disappear. I really hoped for a "miracle" cure...but the next day the boil was still there, but the discomfort was gone. I felt the Turmeric encouraged the draining for a few days, and the taking of the baking soda caused the diarrhea, which stopped the draining. The effect of the Turmeric on my mood has been fantastic! I don't know what's in it but it certainly is a depression killer! The red marks that were not fading of the first two boils began to fade with the Turmeric, and the red mark from the larger third boil is fading well, and never seemed to be as red in the first place. As of July 14, all boils have healed, and a fourth that was just starting at the time of finding the Tumeric IMMEDIATELY stopped and healed!! If only I had of known about this a month ago!!! I never went to the doctor, but I don't think I had a staph infection. For months I had been feeling bad due to a falling off the excercise wagon, and eating rubbish filled with white flour and suger...Maybe a kind of internal toxicity?... When I first found the boil I thought also it was a lymph node problem due to the wearing of an anti-perspirent, so instead of a deodorent I used Active Manuka Honey with te UMF of 5 ( it was all they had in the supermarket) and I also used it as the antiseptic on my boils. At first I had used Betadine. I now stopped waering a deoderent and just rub a little honey under each armpit!! I know Manuka Honey has Staph and Strep killing "power" so that's why that might work. I am still taking the Tumeric. Actually, today is the very first time I forgot to take it and I felt my mood plummet! So I went off and happilty overdosed!! My taste buds don't even wince anymore!! Thankyou so much for this site and all the great info.

I had small boil of some sort right between my eyes. so I found this great site in which I started to read the great results people are having using turmeric powder. I took one teaspoon and mixed it in baked beans. it was still a little strong going down the hatch but I eat it all up. The next day I noticed the boil was already drying up and had gone way down in size and the redness is far less plus no more pain. I am still putting about one half of a teaspoon a day on my food until it is all gone. Thank god for this site.

Alex

Am still taking the turmeric powder (1 glass of water 1 tsp turmeric powder add honey to taste)AMAZING.....thanks to this website..its a life saver..am recommending this everybody

Last week i had a huge boil on my left inner thigh. It had been growing for several days. Hurt so bad I went to a dermatologist's office but they could not see me for several weeks.
