What to Expect When Treating Molluscum Contagiosum with Apple Cider Vinegar
There are changes in the appearance of the molluscum contagiosum spots as they heal. The spots may turn white or black. They may scab. Do not pick the spots. Do not poke the spots with a pin. Picking and poking increases your risk of infection. Let the spots dry up and heal on their own.
If the apple cider vinegar is irritating to the skin dilute it with water. Try 1/2 water and 1/2 apple cider vinegar. If the vinegar causes the skin to become dry, after applying the vinegar and allowing it to dry, moisturize the skin with coconut oil or castor oil.
