Will It Help Breast Tenderness?

Posted By Reader (Albany, NY)

I read somewhere that a quarter size spot of over the counter iodine can help relieve breast tenderness in a premenopause woman - any idea?

Personally, I think iodine can do anything, as it controls your blood and your organs, breast tenderness makes sense because of the profound way ioidine makes your hormones happy.

I have just started iodine therapy last month (1-2 drops Now brand Iodide daily) and hope this will help me with the tenderness too. So far, it seems to be making a difference as I'm now a week pre-flo and the girls are feeling pretty content.

If your tenderness is accompanied by dense/hard/lumpy-feeling tissue, I would like to suggest that you also conduct a self-massage, which has helped me a great deal. Both the hardness and the soreness can be a lack of adequate lymph drainage, and can lead to further problems down the road. It hurts, but a semi-vigorous massage to break up the blocked lymph congestion in the tissues, applying warm castor oil packs to soothe and heal, avoiding ill-fitting bras and underwire bras, and even going au naturale while moving about (especially walking) as often as possible to get gravity to help with gentle lymph drainage can all really help. I'd also suggest finding a good aromatherapist for a lymph drainage massage with the benefit of healing, beautiful smelling oils.

Good luck!

I've been looking for a seaweed pill, this is cheaper than the superseaveg. But does it work just as good as superseaveg does?
