Treatment Causes Coughing?

I found this amazing site and started using ACV for my high cholestrol. I used it for a about 3 months with 2 tablespoon in one big glass of room tempreture water. I also recommended it to my uncle who has very high chloestrol. But after a few weeks of using it my uncle developed really bad cough symptoms. I also started haveing severe cough especially in the morning after taking ACV. When I stopped taking ACV, the cough subsided somewhat. I wanted to know if this is a possible side effect of ACV? Also is there something that I can do to make it less prone to giving cough like symptoms? Your feedback is highly appreicated

Aug 30, 07 I'm responding to another reader's post about coughing after Apple Cider Vinegar. I've only been doing ACV for a couple of days but I've already noticed coughing which subsides a couple of hours after taking. I take about 2 tablespoons, preferably in some juice (don't like the taste). I think taking less would not make me cough. Also, the cough is not bad, more like just surprising.
