It's supposed to be blackstrap. However, if you compare the vitamin and mineral content of molasses vs. blackstrap molasses bottles at the grocery store, you will find that they are almost the same. What turns regular ol molasses into "blackstrap" molasses is the 3rd boiling of cane sugar syrup.
