I would like to reply to Therese from Goshen, NY (27/8/07). I read that you shouldn't brush your teeth after oil pulling. Oil pulling should be done first thing in the morning. First brush your teeth in the morning then start oil pulling for 15-20 mins. Wash your mouth with warm water and then have breakfast. You should never swallow the oil that's gargled, it is dangerous.Replied by Cloud (Dammam, Ksa) on 09/11/2011
I noticed no one answered your question about continuing to spit foamy saliva well after oil pulling. I get the same thing except this lasts for several hours. You said you get a stomachache from swallowing.. That's what I though would happen.. I never do swallow my saliva for ~4-5 hours after oil pulling (just keep spitting & drinking water). Like somehow I feel instinctively that this foamy spit is not normal and should not be swallowed. (note: I have only done op about 4 times now so I think this foamy business should lessen over time, when I'm more clean inside).
I usually eat very healthy, so I guess most of my toxins are just from having an anxious/stressed personality. But I would think stress toxins would be more water-soluble than oil-soluble..?
as a side note most should ignore: realized I do the same spitting thing for hours after coming down from dxm (even solid tablets).. almost choking from my own foam, even with drinking lots water..

The oil pulling signals your body to release toxins in the form of saliva. After you are done it takes your body a bit of time to stop. Keep spitting out the extra. I think this is why it's important to drink water after so we don't dehydrate ourselves.
