I was just looking up thyroid issues today for my gf she has quite the weight issue going on, she has tried everything for weight loss but its her thyroid that needs controlling and than weight loss, but anyway this is what I found, food therapy.. follow a diet with at least 50% fresh foods for a month, eat iodine rich foods (sea veggies, sea foods and leafy greens) eat vitamin a rich foods (yellow veggies, eggs, carrots, dark green veggies, raw dairy) avoud refined foods, saturated fats, sugars, white flour products and red meats, avoid brussel sprouts, cabage. herbal things that may help are crystal star iodine source caps or extract 3 times daily, sun chlorella, or wakasa gold drink or crystal star system strength daily, heritage atomodine with vit e 800 iu, evening primrose oil caps 4 daily, kelp tabs 6-8 daily with cayenne caps 3 daily, Siberian ginseng extract under the tongue 2 x daily from the book called healthy healing ninth edition by linda g. rector-page, n.d., ph.d pg 329 I hope this helps you in some way
