How Does BHT Work/Heal If It's Insoluble?

Hello,

The BHT I bought is insoluble, and it seems all BHT is insoluble. I am now curious how a chemical that does not break down to a smaller particle than a grain of sand size can perform as a healing agent? Unless it is small enough to travel through the liver, or can be reduced to such an element that can be processed through the liver, how would it ever leave the stomach if it won't break down further?

It is fat soluble, and our bodies can absorb things that are fat soluble.
