If Blackstrap Molasses has calcium in it, how does the body absorb the much needed iron?

Hi, basically just take Blackstrap Molasses regularly and you will notice the difference- as the vitamins and minerals are balanced and easily absorbable they work quickly to solve this problem.

I had the same question in mind, in general I look for Blackstrap Molasses with a higher level of iron and a lower of ca, vit c and folic acid will help increase the iron absorption. Have you checked the market for other iron rich foods, Everybody compains about the Blackstrap molasses taste, it's similar to me to plum juice or jam taste.

It does have a very distinctive taste. I dilute a TBSP in a cup of warm water or 2% milk (sometimes half water half milk) and it is tolerable. I also add it to my oatmeal. I add some to spaghetti sauce or baked beans and my husband cannot detect it.

After reading several posts here I think molasses is being confused with BSM. I used to purchase molasses feed for my horses. I don't think BSM is added to that grain.
