Can oil pulling raise cholesterol

Posted By Gayle (York, Pa) on 01/26/2015

I've been oil pulling for about 6 months now, and during my last bi-annual doctor's visit, I was told that according to my lab work, my cholesterol was higher than usual. I really believe in this oil pulling, but I'm now wondering if it's raising my cholesterol. I've been using the extra virgin olive oil lately, but sometimes switch to sweet almond and 2 or 3 others. Does anyone know if cholesterol is negatively affected?
