Can I Sun Gaze Without Looking Directly at the Sun?

Posted By Kiran (France) on 08/17/2015

Hi,

I've recently heard about sun gazing and wish to practise it, however my problem is that I cannot see the sun an hour before or after sunrise and sunset. I live in France (French Alpes). We are surounded by mountains therefore I dont see the sun after it has passed over the mountain. Is it still possible to gaze but at the sky instead, in the direction of the sun?

Many thanks.

I'm starting doing it for a week, as I know when you see the tip coming out the mountain you can do it, also when is at noon on a pan of water you can gaze the reflection.
