Natural Antibiotics - Garlic and Ginger

Since garlic and ginger are both reported to be natural antibiotics, if taken together would they counter each other and reduce their effectiveness or create a broader spectrum?

Dear Kt,

I think they create a broader spectrum. Sometimes I am treating with one herb or remedy and it isn't working as well or fast as I would hope and I will often add something to it and then get results.

While there are some herbs that might not work well together, garlic and ginger are commonly used together even in cooking. I wouldn't hesitate to use the two together for an antibiotic.

Thank you MtM, I had been mixing a concoction of spinach, turmeric, ginger, garlic and cayenne pepper but have to reduce my spinach consumption for awhile. I still wanted to mix all the other spices on other food.
