What can i do for dogs mange

Hi Chopper my 11 week old pit bull was diagnosed with mange and it is has gotten so bad. I have been treating him with olive oil, neem oil, coconut oil, apple cider, vinager, lemon juice, lavender and garlic. I have been putting it on him everday for about a week now. I think it is burning him as he has open wounds. I have also given him echinacea, spirulina, kelp, probiotics, enzymes, grapefruit extract, vitamen C, kidney cleanse, blood cleanse and now starting liver cleanse. I do not know if I should be giving all of these things or if any of them are even working. I have read borax or sodium perborate and hydrogen peroxide is better. Is this true? I have read though negative side effects about borax and sodium perborate, is this true? The doctor gave him Ivomec and I read really bad things about that. I only gave it to him once though. His body is scabbing, bloody and inflamed. It looks like his eye is half way shut. I am so nervous and I do not know what to do. How long until I see some change? What should I give him? He is also losing his energy. I know the doctor prior to getting him dewormed him twice and gave him vaccines, which I'm sure lowered his immune system tremendously. If you have any suggestions I would so appreciate it.

Thank you! Jill

In the olden days, I mean 50 yrs ago, people used burned motor oil and put it on the dog. I know that would be a horrible mess, but, it worked. Worth a try if you can put him in a outdoor pen.
