Hello, my 13-year old Maltese was just diagnosed with a tumor that the ER doctor believes started on his spleen. He was rushed to the hospital after my family members noticed he didn’t appear well and couldn’t stand. It was determined that the tumor had ruptured and therefore he was bleeding internally. We came up with the funds to get him treated with a blood transfusion and other treatments, with the hopes and prayer to get him stabilized (they said that might not work as ill as he came in but we prayed that it would). It worked, thank God! The next day his vitals were good and he was stabilized. The hospital doctor, whose care he was now in, gave up options, one being we could take him home since he was stable.
We chose to take him home (we don’t have thousands of dollars more to have tumor removed, and if cancerous, which they suspect, want to subject him to chemotherapy). This is how I ended up on this website; looking for natural remedies for tumor treatments. I read about turmeric and have question. I’ve read turmeric can make a tumor larger initially. My concern is, the tumor getting larger may cause it to rupture again obviously we don’t want that. Is there anything else available that I can give my dog that would help rid him of the tumor? Also, any advice on a raw diet? Thank you.
