What Can I Do for My Puppy with Severe Heart Problems?

Posted By Naomi (Vacaville, Ca) on 01/01/2016

I have a 4 month old puppy who has a grade 4 murmur due to pulmonic stenosis and an abnormally small pulmonary artery. She currently weighs 22 pounds and is on a beta blocker. While her prognosis is not good, I'd like to give her as much support possible to live comfortably for the time she has. Any suggestions you could offer would be appreciated.

Hi Naomi,

I would suggest trying "Organic Black Seed Oil. I had a heart murmur and after much research I found this. I am happy to say that after two months I no longer have a heart murmur and my cholesterol dropped 57 points along with my blood-work was perfect. First time ever. I had also read that it was good for dogs so I started my 15 year old Little Terrier Mix on 1/2 tsp 2x day and the Vet gave her a Fantastic bill of health on her last physical.

If you do decide to try it, just put 1/2 tsp 2x day and work up to 1 tsp 2x day right into his food.

My little girl loves it and so does my big dog. However, if you try it, you will need some honey because this stuff taste?? Well, lets just say the honey makes it like a treat. If you'd like more information just write back and I'll send you what I have. You can find this on amazon. com. It is the best price and product out there.

I have pasted a picture of the brand because it is the only one that comes in glass and for sure is Organic. Hope this helps...Terific1
