Help! Rescue Kittens' Eyes not Responding to Treatment

Help!! I rescue, nurse, domesticate and rehome dozens of feral born kittens every year. For the first time ever I rescued 15 kittens seriously infected with the herpesvirus. Despite all the medication from the vet including ACV with mother I still lost 8 kittens. They simply failed to thrive. They made it up to about 4 weeks old and we're growing and healthy and then within 3 days I'd lost 8 of them. All of them seemed to have overcome the infection. No signs of it when they died. I'm still struggling to heal 2 whose eye (just one) have now ulcerated. I'm still using antibiotics, opthamalic eye drops, terramycin from the vet and ACV with mother. I'm out of money and desperate for help. Anybody out there with a clue to what I do next??
