Hi I have a 10 month old border collie and she started getting a little low on energy yesterday and then had some diarrhea today. It hasn't been a whole lot, but in one of the accidents I noticed a little red tinge. She has no energy today but hasn't been throwing up. She is also still very willing to chase her ball if I throw it for her. She hasn't really eaten today but I noticed she did take a drink. I also know she has been immunized for parvo.
Can she still get parvo or could this be something with similar symptoms?
I've had 2 other dogs with parvo in the past that we took in to be treated at the vet. Both survived, but we just can't afford to take another dog in for treatment. I started giving her some water with a little honey to help with hydration and sugar levels. I also gave her a danimals drinkable yogurt to try and help with stomach bacteria.
