Dog experiencing vomiting of sputum

Posted By Cornell (Owasso, Ok) on 06/15/2012

Hi I have a 10 yr old husky-shepherd mix that is about 75 lbs that is experiencing occasional vomiting of a frothy sputum without food. Zorro is in pretty good health also he is not eating everyday except when he gets hungry (he'll beg for treats but I always tell him to eat his food). Could you recomend any alternative treatments for Zorro? Thank you so much.

For Cornell re. Zorro--Please give him food grade diatomaceous earth (DE) in his food, starting with 1 tsp. Once a day, increasing gradually to 2 tsps. 2X/day in his food. If he gets dry food, sprinkle with raw apple cider vinegar so powder will stick. Also a tsp. or so of gently melted coconut oil in his food; but especially DE should help.
