Cat Won't Eat Food After Switching From Dry Because of Blocked Urinary Trac

Posted By Martha (Hayward, Ca) on 12/14/2015

I switched to wet food from dry after my 16 month old cat suffered a blocked urinary tract.

With the Doctors consent after 7 months of a prescribed diet of c/d wet food only. I asked if I might start mixing dry c/d with the wet. My not yet 2 yr old Siamese lynx tail baby just wouldn't take to the wet food not eating and losing weight.

NOW he won't eat anything but dry c/d. No amount of coaxing or persistence prevailed. M.J. is so stubborn he can go 2-3 days without eating. It's been about 5 weeks now and I am panic stricken that I am slowly making him I'll. So far he urinated but I'm so on edge that one day will come and no P.P.

Has anyone had similar problems? I'm scared to death. HELP!
