Put him on a raw food diet - there is a powder mix you can buy online and just mix with chopped meat, store in freezer
Get him a live aloe vera plant to chew on whenever he wants
Do not let him outside to eat the grass if it may be chemical treated
Add colloidal silver to his water every day

My cat did the same thing. I tried alot of things but what works now for me is :
1. Feeding her some wet food with a bit of cat vitamin gel and a few hills science nuggets. I push the nuggets deep under a bit of wet food. If I fill her little bowl too hi she vomits. I fill this a third of that little bowl. That means feeding her 3x/day.
2. I also have started brushing her to get excess hair off when she does sit on my lap which is not alot.
So far so good.
