My Bernese Mountain Dog has an open sore on her stomach. It has been there for over a month. I have cleaned it multiple times with HP, neosporin and Bactine. It never heals. It just keeps scabbing over but still pusses and little white balls will come out. She also has a hole on her tail leading to the bone. This also will not heal. I have taken her to the vet and they just said to clean it and it hasn't worked. Does any one have any sugestions? I am very concerned for her well being. Thank you!

Have you tried castor oil? I rub it on my dogs when they have skin problems.... Heal quickly and they seem to like it. Please use only cold pressed ( mine's from swanson) Hope this helps!!!
