Been woken up by cats uti

My daughter went off to college a year ago, and I have become the owner of her 3 year old, little black Bombay Lulu. For the past two mornings, I have been woken up by her peeing not in her litter box. She poops in it fine, just won't pee. The first time I caught her she peed in her cat bed, the next time was my boyfriend's chair. I have been trying the ACV today, and giving her more fluids. She is acting normal, but still has not used the litter box to pee yet, in fact she has not gone since 8 am this morning (that I know of). Any suggestions?

A lot of litter these days has perfume in it. She may not like the litter or maybe just used to what she had before. I would not try force a cat to use a litter box when they obviously are telling me they don't like it. Many cats are allergic to the junk they put in the litter. You might try using a different litter. I have many cats and when a cat stops doing something like using the box, it's for a good reason.
