My 12 year old cocker spaniel has heartworms again. He had them about a year ago & I took him to the vet & they gave him 2 injections 1 month apart. He handled it well & I thought everything was OK. Now I don't think that his got rid of all the heartworms. Does the black walnut tincture & wormwood treatment work? I've read all over the internet & found both good & bad info. My dog is definitely at stage 4 & am broke so I don't have any other option right now. I have been giving him garlic cloves with his meal & lemon juice in his water. Is there any suggestions on how I can best treat my dog!!! Please help. TIA
