Can Zinc Prevent DHT-Related Hair Loss in Men?

Hello

I want to know if Zinc alone is enough to prevent DHT related hair loss in men or do you need blockers like Nettle and Saw Palmetto too? If you took chelated zinc in larger amounts.

Thanks,

Daniel

According to Wikipedia, linolenic and linoleic acids, two major dietary sources of HDL, are 5 alpha reductase inhibitors.

5α-Reductase inhibitors (5-ARIs), also known as dihydrotestosterone (DHT) blockers, are a class of medications with antiandrogenic effects which are used primarily in the treatment of enlarged prostate and scalp hair loss.

Add grapeseed oil to your diet for Linoleic acid, Vitamin E, CoQ10

Add Flaxseed, Chia Seeds and Walnuts for α-Linolenic Acid

Here are the websites with the information:

I would also suggest a good multi-vitamin multi-mineral like one a day that contains zinc.
