Zeolite use led to eczema and hair lossPosted By Bjornbjorn (Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada) on 09/03/2012
Well over the last 2 1/2 months my scalp has been very itchy, so bad that I sometimes sit on the couch and itch like crazy for long periods, also my scalp is very dry as well as very dry hair. At times it feels so itchy its almost like there is something moving on my scalp but there isnt or at least nothing visible to the human eye (I Have had numerous people check) and my hair is falling out but only on the frontal region and it is falling out FAST. I have never had problems with hair and hair loss until my experiment with Zeolite.
I am a 30 year old male, I exercise 6 days a week (mixture of cardio and weight lifting), I eat all non processed foods, no wheat, I take chlorella powder daily (4-6 tsp), I dont know if this matters but I live in the Vancouver lower mainland of British Columbia Canada (very humid environment), I just started taking b complex (2 days ago) and Magnesium (2 days ago).
Please help me with my hair it is very stressful. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance
Regards, Rob

May I ask you what has helped you with the eczema? I am going through a horrible experience with it. I started having a problem with it on my hands a few years ago. Used a steroid cream from a dermatologist that was destroying my skin and not curing me. Out of desperation I went gluten free a year and three months ago and shortly after that started taking a low dose iodine supplement. Not long after that, about ten months ago, I had a full body eczema attack unlike anything I had ever experienced before. Very painful and disgusting. I stopped the iodine supplements right away but this massive detox my body was going through just wouldn't stop. I couldn't find a way to stop the detox. And I was not about to go back on gluten, as being gluten free was curing the arthritis and full body pain I'd been experiencing for years, among other things. I wasn't finding much help on the web. Mostly just that you have to grin and bear it when it comes to trying to rid yourself of eczema and that it can take some indeterminate amount of time. I only found this site about two months ago. I currently have no health coverage or job so finding a naturopathic doctor is out of the question right now.
The things that have been helping me the most are: lots of enzymes, especially between meals with a glass of water; probiotics; 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda and 1/2 lemon in a glass of water first thing in the morning 1/2 hour before breakfast; lemon wedges in water throughout the day sometimes; stopped taking MSM which I had been taking for maybe 13 years for joint pain - it works great for joint pain, but I just found out it also promotes detoxing; after my shower I was splashing a mixture of sea salt in water all over my body, now I use a bar of salt shaped like a bar of soap - the stinging used to be so bad that all I could do was hiss, not even say ouch; washing my hands and rash areas with borax and water and leaving it on to dry; and at my worst I used mineral oil to soothe my skin and when it wasn't as bad I'd use coconut oil, but that didn't provide relief for as many hours (I was working at the time). I figure that aside from the eczema, since I have had so many health benefits from going gluten free, over the course of my life the gluten must have caused leaky gut syndrome and liver damage among other things. Of course there have been other toxins over the course of my life, food, drugs (esp. Antibiotics and naproxen), environment, dental fillings, but I have mostly eaten healthy. So I figure I've been detoxing all sorts of things - fungus, bacteria, die-off, assorted heavy metals. And I think the areas it shows up has to do with the body's meridians. I still have some blistering and itching, and sometimes it gets a little worse, but it is slowly getting better and better, and any extra tips and information (from anyone) would be greatly appreciated. I want to be free of it.

If eczema, I had a friend in high school who had eczema and was prescribed ultra violate light treatments. Other people reported that salt water healed their eczema. They swam in the ocean for an hour a day for 2 weeks. Some even bought sea salt and soaked in it in a bath.

Research your family history. For me after learning my mom had antitrypsin deficiency...I learned I got a mutated gene. After researching that I learned what issues I could be having. It helped to dial it in.
Find out the specifics of your autoimmune issues. For me ... I started looking for an autoimmune topical. After putting Manuka honey watered down on my scalp it reversed the autoimmune issue to stop hair fall.
Dmso spraying around the hairline resulted in better results. But I'd never have found that until I realized by the genes I was dealing with what are common places to target my research.
