What will help with calcium deposits after breaking my hand

Posted By Aviva (Israel) on 01/19/2015

Hi,

Thank you for a very helpful and informative site.

I broke my arm (radius) and after 3 weeks of cast I needed a surgery(titanium plate). After taking the cast down the movement of the hand is very hard and low. The hand was swollen, red and hot and we used arnica cream and DMSO (not together) to get rid of the inflammation and edema. Both really helped a lot but I am still very concerned about the movement of the hand. It gets better but not good enough and I know that the passing time doesn't help.

The Physiotherapist said there is a lot of calcification on the tendons.

I wonder what to do next. Any ideas?

I am 60 on levotroxin and no other problems.

Thank you, Aviva

A: There has been much very recent discussions on removing excess calcium from the body here on E.C. Forward a few pages and you will find the post.

You may also consider a local Chiropractor as they usually include a broader field of science in their practice, especially natural medicine.

Magnesium Sulfate aka Epsom Salts mixed with very warm water and saturated in washcloth applied to the affected area several times daily will help w/ inflammation, pain, and excess calcium.

First find out where the calcium is coming from. Do you take calcium, look at all of your vitamins. Do you take d3?

Hi Aviva, have a look at vitamin K2. There are some studies that show it will dissolve calcium deposits in the body even in arteries in the heart along with some magnesium. All the best in your journey to health, God bless.
