Urinary tract infection is going badlyPosted By Livia (Maryland, US) on 01/16/2015
After a bad nights sleep I took Ted's sea salt remedy, which worked, pain gone! Only after an hour I had diarrhea and for the rest of the morning. Pain came back soon after. My body is tingling again now, I don't know whether to try the sea salt again or something else?
The only thing I currently don't have (it's out of date) is probiotics, which would help, I think.
Any other ideas? I've read all the UTI thread...

I was out of town in the fall and came down with a UTI. I didn't have my usual "go to's" for a UTI. I did have Colloidal Silver and Frankincense. I took 2 T. of Colloidal Silver three times a day and rubbed a few drops of Frankincense essential oil over the lower abdomen a few times a day.
I think I also took several grams of Vitamin C.
I also think a warm/hot bath with a cup of baking soda or a cup of epsom salt is good for many different conditions and use them for just about anything that makes you feel miserable.
I hope you find what will help you with this and hope you will feel much better soon!

Back to the uti, I didn't see that you have tried Uvi Ursi, one of the single most effective uti remedies. Only problem is Uvi cannot be taken for more than 10 or so days without an equal time of abstinence. In this case it is always best to use Uvi Ursi as a complementary herb along w/ the other herbs you are taking. Dr Christopher's "Kidney/Bladder" herbal formula has all the best uti herbs in one product, which also cleanses the kidneys which is very important so as to not reinfect the bladder and urethra.

This treatment worked for me in about one week. It has worked for many others. Google it and you will find a very many success stories. It is based on solid scientific evidence. It`s effect is understood and documented. Surely worth a try. It is one of those treatments that REALLY work for many people....Oscar

The Uvi Ursi had some success yesterday but by late afternoon the pain was back and I'd taken 4 doses. I slowed down on the other treatments because I didn't want to continue to have diarrhea. I've not, though, it's been ok. Last night before bed my body was on fire again. I added the Msm and colloidal silver and Vit C... I've suspected for a while I have a yeast infection.
So this morning I tried the salt water again for the last time, followed by D-mannose. Ted doesn't say how long you wait for d-mannose so I waited 20 minutes then 20 minutes more for water. At the moment peeing doesn't hurt quite so much at the end... but the rest of my abdomen is feeling something, intense tingling might describe it.
I'm up against a wall again.

I know why I got here, I was erratic in the remedies I took. Pain and sleeplessness, I couldn't decide what treatment to take. I've been here before, 2 years ago when a UTI wouldn't leave, three courses of antibiotics and I was left with my doctor shrugging. Then I found D-mannose and it took 8 weeks but I was infection free, except the pain didn't leave. It took a full year for that to leave. I tried quite a lot of things.
I've been doing Ted's alkalizing remedy for months and sporadically doing Bill's candida protocol. To do it, you have to stay mainly home and go out very little. The moment I go out I forget the time.
I really don't want to be taking these. Can I stop and go onto some alternative antibiotic, like Colloidal silver? Garlic works best but it's really difficult to take, my stomach wants to get rid of it. I'm taking selenium, ALA and milk thistle for my liver and kidneys. I've been using colostrum this week, but I don't know whether that's aiding anything. Plus the probiotics 2 hours after the Cipro.
Thanks for all the feedback everyone. So appreciated.

In short, you will need to do both internal and external cleansing of your environment. Begin external cleansing now by purifying air & water, removing all toxic house & body products and replace them w/ more bio-friendly products.
As soon as your done taking the prescription antibiotics, begin internal cleansing.
Read and paste notes on the following cleanses and do each in the order I list.
https://www.earthclinic.com/cures/gallstones.html
https://www.earthclinic.com/cures/detox-heavy-metals-side-effects.html
https://www.earthclinic.com/cures/colon-cleansing.html
https://www.earthclinic.com/cures/parasites.html
This will take some time and you will need to come back for further assistance but when it's done you will be sooo much better.
Back to your current natural remedies, all looks good except the ALA. ALA is excellent liver builder and strengthener, but it is somewhat abrasive to the upper GI, so will not go well during the synthetic antibiotics.
Speaking of Liver, I would have Dr do Liver Function Test as well as Hep-B & C test, although you may need to temporarily discontinue the Milk Thistle a few weeks prior to the function test as the M.T. could cause a false-negative results. You can resume the ALA fallowing the cleanses.
Also, after completing the prescription antibiotics, yes, begin taking Colloidal Silver. Also for immune support take Raw Bovine Thymus Glandular as directed on label.
Also, you may want to evaluate your dental situation as cases like root canal make for chronic infection which travels throughout the body and is sometimes fatal in a cardiac event.

Re your Urinary Tract Infection Recurrence...
I read your Posts describing the problem and it has all the hallmarks of an E-coli infection, the usual suspect for UTIs.
The best article/video on this is a MUST read or See by Dr. Mercola. Just google ... Dr. Mercola urinary tract infection Mannose....and you'll find a number of sites where Mercola is recommending and explaining what to do to avoid such infections and how to rid the body of existing infections. Females will be surprised at one item that can cause repeated infections.
I note your success with Mannose but the article/video is a must to see what is causing the recurrences. The recurrence is typical in UTI, E-coli related. Mercola tells you what is happening.
