Urgent Help Requested for Son With Bad Cat Allergies

Posted By Mary (Arcadia, Ca) on 09/09/2015

Please help! I am at a great need. I just adopted a short haired Cat. My son has bad allergies towards long haired cats. Now he is having bad allergies towards this new cat. I don't know what to do. I bought a spray called "Natures Miracle" that was supposed to help. It has not, so I will have to give this sweet cat back which breaks my heart. Please, Please, please help me find a cure.

Dear Mary,

We have used Nettle in capsules or tinctures for a variety of allergies. It would be something I would try for a pet allergy.

I gave my son 2 nettles capsules twice a day for allergies. Sometimes he took them three times a day. He also took a quercetin capsule once or twice a day. He was an average sized 12 year old.

I gave a toddler a 1/2 cup of nettle tea for hives.

Just trying to give some ideas on how I dose nettles.

A Vitamin C supplement is also something we have found helpful for allergic reactions.

I hope you figure this out so you can keep the cat!

The very first recommendation for the duo of pets & children is to deworm both. For pets, you can go the expensive and best option of a vet, or do a little research on otc worm meds sold at many retail stores that carry pet supplies. For adults & children, do an herbal wormer complex like "Black Walnut Complex" or "Wormwood Complex" from local or online health-food store plus Garlic Oil & Oregano Oil softgels, plus a small spoon of Milled Flax Seed to clean the colon.

The above treatments will likely reduce the inflammation that's triggering the allergies.

Nutrients that are best for reducing inflammation specifically are Quercetin, Pineapple, Turmeric, and Fish or Krill or Flax Oil.

Re cat allergies --- I had the formula years ago but you could contact one of the well known rescue organizations for cats in particular. They will be able to help you. Keep asking around - there is a remedy to take for a few days and is supposed to work. Namaste, Om

Try giving your son a 100 mil. tablet of magnesium citrate each morning with his food. Magnesium calms most all allergic reactions. As anecdotal evidence, my brother-in-law would have fits when visiting due to my own cats. Once he began taking magnesium his allergic-reactions stopped.

Also, cat-saliva is said to be an allergen to some. Simply wipe down your cat's outer fur with a wet wash cloth once each day.
