Ulnar Nerve Entrapment

I am wondering if anyone has been successful in treating ulnar nerve entrapment? I hate to go the surgical route.

Dear Denise,

I am so sorry. That is painful!

I recently learned which nerve this is when I had nerve pain from my shoulder blade, down my arm, and into my fourth and fifth fingers.

Things that helped me were alternating warm and cold on my back from my neck to between my shoulder blades (if the nerve is pinched by the vertebrae, which I think mine was.)

Also, look into exercises/stretches to release that nerve. I am finding that getting back to stretching really, really helps me with nerve and muscle pain.

I hope you find a non surgical solution that helps you!

Please look into myokinesthetic treatments.It is a non invasive treatment done sitting in a chair. To find a practitioner in your area go to Myokinesthetic.com. You can also look up Dr Mike Uriarte, he created the technique. Good luck

The things that helped me were 1) finding an RMT experienced in facial tissue releasing, unsticking, and lengthening;

2) Humerus and scapula stretching exercise;

3) Acupuncture;

4) Slightly squeezing on both (left and right) sides of the wrist bone which opens up the carpal tunnel and relieves nerve entrapment through that area.

I hope you find relief soon.
