Treatment for Lumps on Shins

Posted By Anon (Not Canada) on 09/20/2020

There are lumps on my shin bones beneath the skin (two on one shin, one on the other) that are tender when touched. They are firm but not hard. I noticed that eating dark chocolate makes them hurt more.

The second one on the right leg appeared recently after I had eaten dark chocolate edible cookie dough after purposely avoiding chocolate for this very reason.

Additionally painful varicose veins began appearing all over my body. I have had some for years but nothing like this.

It also coincided with taking iron supplements (4 pills over 6 or so days sometimes with lemon juice and powdered ascorbic acid) and megadosing ascorbic acid. (Notice that a remedy for varicose veins includes citrus bioflavonoids - you may want to include them when taking vitamin C.)

Taking castor oil (2 Tbl/day) greatly diminishes the pain, possibly by soothing the irritation to the digestive tract caused by the iron. (I posted earlier about oil pulling with castor oil and how just oil pulling with it reduced the pain.)

Currently I eat raw cabbage and drink Ted's lemon and baking soda alkalizing remedy. Garlic, turmeric, and tahini also seem beneficial. I have not acquired a vegan vitamin e supplement, but it used to relieve the pain, too.

Thinking it was likely an overdose of heavy metals I made a glass of juice from four bunches of cilantro, but was in greater pain after drinking it. Normally I add parsley juice to cilantro juice to help out the liver and such. After the pain went away my feet and legs felt like there was more sensation in them and the muscles seemed more relaxed.

Guaifenison expectorant relieves the pain a great deal. I combined it with flushing-type niacin and magnesium for greater effect. I would have added melatonin but there was none.

I also take horsechestnut and butcher's broom which appear to be diminishing the veins.

Lugol's iodine (2 drops 5%) in fresh lemon juice with a bit of ascorbic acid and baking soda does not seem to affect the pain.

Fresh ginger seems to increase the pain. As does soymilk.

Walking and being on my feet relieves the pain, at least until I sit down.

The initial lump on my shin has been there for a few years. It's about two inches across but maybe 1/4 inch high. The pain from it was gone until I ate that chocolate about a month ago.

So now that my stomach is almost back to normal I will be alkalizing, eating tahini, cabbage, garlic, and turmeric, and drinking cilantro/parsley juice, and taking guaifenison/niacin/magnesium.
