Told i have acidosis in the tissues

Acidotic Tissues

I recently had my blood, urine, and saliva tested and was found that I have alkaline blood and urine but my saliva was acidic. The doctor is saying that my tissues are acidic even though the other (blood and urine) are alkaline. What do I do to alkalyze my tissues? He has me taking a B-Complex vitamin every hour and buffered vitamin C twice a day along with a very restrictive diet that is low in protein (after he has told me to eat more protein to stabalize my blood sugar). Does anyone have any suggestions? The test was called a Bio 101 test and is more involved but too technical to go into it here.

Hi Sherri...If just your tissue cells are acidic, then this would seem to indicate a Calcium/Sodium/Potassium imbalance within your cells. This electrolyte balance is regulated mainly by Magnesium.

Therefore, perhaps your problem is mainly caused by low magnesium, and can be solved by taking daily Magnesium supplements to achieve the proper intracellular electrolyte balance and a more alkaline pH. Magnesium is an electrolytic regulator which regulates the Calcium/Sodium/Potassium balance between your blood and tissue cells. At the moment, you appear to have too much calcium or too little potassium inside your tissue cells, causing too much intracellular acidity.

The best magnesium supplements to take are Mag Chloride, Mag Citrate or Mag gluconate.

The easiest, fastest and safest way to take magnesium is either in a bath(2-3 times a week) using 3 cups of either Magnesium Chloride crystals or Epsom Salts(Mag Sulphate) and let your body just absorb the magnesium through the skin transdermally(stay in the hot bath for at least 1/2 hour). Or, as I do, put 3 tablespoons of Mag Chloride or Epsom Salts crystals into an 8 oz garden sprayer and just spray it all over your body for absorbtion. You could even just spray the painful tissue or bone areas, letting it dry in situ, and you should get a beneficial result. I use these methods.

Magnesium should definitely help your tissue acidity problem and you might also be pleasantly surprised at whatever else it clears up -- since magnesium is involved in over 300 major enzyme processes in your body and is a very important mineral.

Another remedy which might help you(assuming you are low on potassium) is Ted's Lime/Lemon and other remedies found here:

This should help to balance any cellular sodium/potassium issues.
