What is Acidic pH?

Characterized by the presence of too much acid in the body fluids, acidic pH or acidosis occurs as the kidneys and lungs are unable to keep the body’s pH in balance. The common symptoms associated with the condition include fatigue, confusion, shortness of breath, sleepiness, rapid breathing, headache, lack of appetite and fruity smelling breath. Several factors contribute to the onset of the condition including chronic airway conditions, injury, obesity, nervous system issues, heart failure, cancer, seizures and others.
