Ted's Remedies for a 30 Year Old Female With Hair Loss?

Posted By 30yrf (London) on 03/01/2013

Hi Ted, I am 30 year old female and have suffered from hairloss on and off since I was 16. I have thalasemia trait beta (not sure if this makes a difference). I am using the birth control pill called yasmin. I have tried to come off it but my hair loss is worse.

I have done my blood checked and they told me that I must have a slight infection in my body as the reading was 100 over the normal. But they said this is nothing to worry about. I have colitis effecting the first 10cm, the doctor has told me this should not be a problem absorbing any nutrients.

My iron is 11 but should read 12 so I am taking tablets for that, however as I have thalasemia trait beta, docotrs tell me its hard to tell if I am low. At times, my head feels like its burning and its so hot to touch, thats when I get lots of sheading. Also, my scalp feels so tender when I comb it.

Right now I am trying a number of things. Please can you advise on the dosage I should be taking or what you think I should have.

I am taking:
vit c and zinc
multivitamin
evening primrose oil
horsetail
saw palmetto
I am using a chinese lotion on my head called 101G and have brought a lazer hair comb called.

Please can you help.? What do you think is wrong and what do you advice?
