Taking combination magnesium for chronic fatigue

Posted By Garnet (Village, Country) on 01/23/2011

Hi, I am currently taking a combination magnesium (143 mg) Chloride (405 mg)/calcium carbonate (283 mg)supplement in attempt to cure my chronic fatigue. Along with daily fatigue, I have exercise intolerance, shortness of breath, constant awareness of my heartbeat, and sometimes palpitations (my heart will have a flutter/irregular beat for a second or two). I am wondering if anyone has had success with this kind of magnesium for these symptoms and how long it took before your symptoms went away. I am having loose stools with this supplement and that was the reason why I switched to it from magnesium oxide (250 mgs). If anyone has any other remedy ideas for my symptoms, could you please post a reply? I really appreciate it.

Sounds to me like you have a B12 problem. I would suggest that you get on B12 Methylcobalamin and folate (not folic acid). This worked very well for me. It takes about a month. I would start with 1000 mcg Methylcobalamin twice a day. 1 folate tablet 800 mcg per day. Good Luck.

For CFS, two remedies have worked noticably for me. One is a product called Cell Food. I read about it on this site, and it works. You purchase it from the health food store. The H2O2 protocol also obtained from this site has helped my breathing substantially. I also have realised that potatoes and sugar make me want to sleep! These remedies are really worth trying. Good luck.
