Seeking Advice and Opinions for Swollen Tongue With Fluid Filled Sacks

Posted By Miss Ayla Rae (Temporarily, Nebraska) on 07/13/2015

I know you can't give absolutes or diagnose anything. I'm just wondering if what I have could possibly be included in this. I read every post and I identify with many things. But I had one thing happen that I'm not sure if its related or just an entirely different unrelated thing. But. I'm scared and I can't find answers. I've been so stressed out. I hope someone can enlighten me a bit. If I'm way off the mark and this page isn't right for me, please just say so and I'd appreciate your candor. I'll take a hard truth over a fake kindness, every single time.

So Hey! Lol. I'm Ayla Rae. I'm 38 for now. When the leaves start to change and the weather grows colder...like it or not, I always get older. I'm female. I'm Caucasian. I was born on the east coast of the U.S. where my grandparents settled. I'm 100% lol. Eastern European. OK I think I covered the list of things I was supposed to answer.

Here is what I know for certain.

The middle of my tongue to as far back as I can see while sticking my tongue out as far as I possibly can, is white. It's been white for as long as I can remember. I can scrape it off with some effort with my fingernail. I don't do it, I just tried to see if it would come off a while back. There are round orbs on either side in back on tongue. They are not smooth like blueberries they are made up or covered by smaller orbs like raspberries. I had my tonsils out when I was young. Sometimes there is hair way back growing out of the white part of my tongue. My teeth are awful. They started deteriorating at the gumline years ago. Now I really want to get them out and wish I had dentures. The pain is ridiculous. There are hard bumps under the worst 3 or 4 in the gums. This has all been ongoing for years.

The new thing happened last Tuesday. My tongue swelled up with like different sized and shaped fluid filled sacks. Only under the tongue and the very bottom of the mouth where that skin connects the under part of the tongue to the bottom soft tissue of the mouth. All of that was just full of these fluid sacks. I had to pop some to breathe and learned they filled right back up. It took 12 hours to get to where I could function and tolerate the ones pretty much in one layer where I could see but many way under and far back. That was 7 days ago. It's still not all gone. It's far far better. The ones left are much smaller. The pain is way less. My face is red where the clear liquid touched from popping them and my chin is completely broken out. I've never had acne but I would compare it to that or like poison ivy maybe.

Some info to consider. I do take medication for ocd, add, PTSD, anxiety and insomnia. Also, I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer at 32. Had a massive histerectome. Clear for 2 years then found more bad cells.

I'd appreciate any opinions. I also understand that they are just that. Opinions. I don't know what to look up or Google anymore. I just need some ideas. Thank you so much. You seem like such a positive group and that is very hard to come by these days. I very much appreciate and value your time beyond measure. It's really all we actually have...and no idea how much.

Sending positivity to all.

Ayla Rae
