Try gargling a pinch of cayenne pepper OR myrrh in warm water. I don't know what your diet is like but you should focus on strengthening your immune system. Vitamin C (1-2 mgs) and Echinacea/Goldenseal are excellent BUT try blending what raw foodists call "Green Smoothies"......one great immune supporter recipe that has helped me (juiced or blended) is:

Green Lemonade (someone on here recommended it and since I've been drinking it I've noticed a dramatic difference in my overall health! Plus, I also have a stubborn lymph node that wasn't going down but NOW - since drinking the green smoothies - it's decreasing!

1 Romaine Lettuce Head OR 2 stalks of celery
4-5 stalks of Kale (or other dark leafy green)
1-2 Fuji apples (organic recommended)
1 organic lemon (remove seeds but do not have to peel if juicing)
1-2 in of ginger (optional)

Blend or juice and enjoy! God Bless.
