Need Help for Scars From Efudex Cream

Hi, I have been left with red patches/ scars on my chest from using effudex cream... I have used this cream successfully on my face in the past with no scarring. Its been about 3 months now and have tried various solutions; cortisone, tretinoin, aquaphor, bio oil to name a few. Im at my wits end! Can you suggest something? many thanks
P.S sometimes it is slightly more red and itchy
