Help! Scalp Problem and Hair Loss

Posted By Joswald2010 (La Verne, Ca) on 01/30/2013

Hello, I am writing to you today because I do not know what to do anymore! My whole problem started early october when I crashed my car and went under a lot of stress. I had to ride my street bike to school but didn't have a helmet so I went ahead and asked a friend, and he gave me one of his extra. Turns out that helmet had been sitting in the garage for a while and been used by at LEAST 4 other people. About two weeks went by and I started noticing my hair falling out in the shower, then it started turning into scalp pain and sensetivity as the week went by (my hair is pretty short). I started getting the feeling of something crawling on my scalp especially in the effected area of scalp loosing hair and the rear of my head, it got worse at night time. My hair began to thin in only one certain area and there was pain associated in that area along with the crawling sensation. So I began to research online and picked up some tea tree only, applied it with some olive oil and slept. Things were better the next day but then it would go back to the same feeling. I work in a warehouse setting and there is a lot of dirt, it seems that after work my whole scalp feels like it is crawling and on my days off it's a lot better. I have been using a beanie to shield it when I am working but I can still feel something crawling underneath, I think it loves the heat! I used lavender oil in my shampoo as well as tea tree which helped a little.

One thing I did notice was I had a lot of dandruff the first time I cut my hair. I made an appt with the doc and he prescribed me Selum Sulfide which did something for a day or two and then nothing after. So I went back and was prescribed ketoconazole 2% shampoo and that made things feel a whole lot better but the condition never stopped it. It would come back 2-3 hrs later. I went to a health store and picked up oregano oil (oral) and olive leaf extract and started taking it, these two made me feel a whole lot better! But AGAIN the feeling came back. The hair sheeding has slowed down a lot but i'll still get a some pimples in the area and itch assosicated with pain and crawling. What could this be? My last hope was to think it was scabies because i've tryed to rule out what else it could be, so I went ahead and picked up clove oil and some fresh garlic from health food store. Made a past of garlic the first night and left it on all night. When I woke up in the moring I felt a lot better but symptoms came back, the second night I did garlic with clove oil and it calmed things down more but it burned! Last night I just put clove oil on with some coconut oil and my scalp feels better the crawling has subsided quite a bit but I still can feel something moving. Should I continue the clove and coconut oil?

What can it be? I want to stop loosing my hair im only 20! I just want to continue my life again. Help please!

Looks like some kind of reaction starting after using that old helmet.

  • To negate all the reactions take Home Milk Kefir 1 - 2 cup a day.
  • Apply Coconut Oil for hair to nourish the hair. Vitamin E in the Coconut Oil is readily available which stimulates the blood flow to the region and will give more energy to the cells.
  • Use coconut milk Shampoo to cleanse your hair.

When it comes to hair, simpler the treatment the better it is.

Vitamin C is also important, which is necessary for the immunity. You can obtain it by drinking home made lemon juice.

The secret of beautiful hair is Coconut Oil, Cleansing, Leaving it dry again Coconut Oil, cleansing and leaving it dry. Clean Scalp is essential for hair growth and strength.

Good Health

try to use colloidal silver water and make your own. Google it. then apply ACV undiluted in between. Also use coconut oil as it also works for these things. This should do it. I had something similar and the doctor prescribed a liquid that made my head spin. I am now off doctors. Good luck. Om

Hi Joswald2010, I was wondering if any of the above worked for you or if you found something that worked?

Hello, I just noted that you have had some success in your treatments. Question is : How long did you stay with the treatments ? If you feel something is working for you, thats the result you want, but you will have to continue taking the medicine or treatment for at least two weeks or three to make sure whatever germs or bacteria you contracted will be eradicated. This is how antibiotics or antifungals work, you have to continue even if you feel like it's gone.

I remember crying one night on my way home from work because of this problem. I tried everything but nothing worked. I am now 59 and found the answer, having discovered it 2 years ago when I went on a sugar free diet. The sugar in my body had been feeding the fungus and all the topical treatments in the world couldn't fight it. It's important that you know I went radically sugar free, nor did I eat any sugar substitutes. I would eat fruit but did not drink fruit juices. It's a difficult diet to get used to but if you are desperate for a cure for scalp fungus it will be worth it. I stayed sugar free for about 7 months and though I have returned to poor eating habits the scalp odor has not returned - after 30+ years of having to suffer the embarrassment.
