Hi Brian, When I started researching aortic aneurysm, human studies were minimal so I had to rely on animal studies, which is hardly ideal, but all I had to go on. It fortunately worked out for Avery.
One commonality between an aortic aneurysm and enlarged atrium is high blood pressure as a potential cause or contributing factor. You didn't mention if you have high blood pressure or not, but making sure your blood pressure is very well controlled is very important. In any case your doctor's are likely to check both your heart and lungs as both can be contributing factors also. Once they determine the cause, if they haven't already, they will know better how best to proceed. So the causes for an enlarged atrium can be different than for an aortic aneurysm.
The arrythmia issues present a significant complication and this just further points to your doctors erring on the side of caution in your case.
As far as the supplements Avery used, they were all common and generally considered healthful for the heart, while having very good safety profiles. I am not a doctor and can not tell you what to use, but those supplements are definitely worth discussing with your doctors since they have very good safety profiles and are common ones, there is a very good chance that your doctor's will approve their use by you. Avery's doctor told him that only surgery can reduce the size of an aortic aneurysm, but apparently the supplements he took did.
To answer your question, I don't think supplements alone may be enough to deal with your arrythmia issues, which can be life threatening, so I would lean more toward the cardiac ablation (CA). CA also involves very significant risks, but seems less risky than just taking supplements which may help the enlarged right atrium, but not the actual arrythmia problems you are experiencing. Supplements for arrythmia would be somewhat different than the regimen that Avery used.
Please keep us updated as your doctors give you more information.

An ablation worked perfectly for my niece's husband! Also worked for my young nephew. I wouldn't put off such an important procedure and rely on supplements. Life is precious.
