Reply and comment about high blood pressure

Hi all,

Just came back from a Kidney doctor who has told me my kidneys are not functioning and filtering. He told me of course to lose weight, wish I could, and now take twice the amount of the water pill to lower my blood pressure. What has worked for others? I also have Hasimoto's which is auto immune. Any suggestions, or ideas or any doctors that will listen to me in NY? Thank you.

Hello Naddie,

Re; Kidney failure.

So much Renal problems are due to diabetic condition. You don't say as much except to reference a weight problem your doctor has told you to correct. That leads us to assume the underlying problem is diabetic...is that correct?

If so, then here's a simple test to help: Get rid of all sugars in your house. Any sugar goes. That includes fruit juices. And includes refined flour. No white rice either.

You can eat all the vegetables you want with limited whole grains. Sweet potatoes instead of white potatoes; no potato chips or corn chips.

Try this diet for ten days...think of the test in the Bible ... the Book of Daniel where the food given to Daniel and his young friends was discarded and he asked permission to go to a vegetable diet for a limited period of time. Just read that account in Daniel (first few chapters) and try it. Was sure good for Daniel and his Jewish cohorts...might be good for you and your kidneys.

Get off water pills ASAP. And then go on ACV 2 tablespoons a day with 1/4 teaspoon baking soda and drink 6-8 glasses of water a day...Water is the best diuretic on the planet and is free and has no side effects..

The diuretic pills will flush out all your minerals and hurt your kidneys...They're poison!

Let us know how you do in about a month...

Mr. Ree, besides just drinking plenty of water (not overdoing it), in using water as a diuretic, I was told by my doc to lay down after a good drink of water. In a while, one will need to urinate and that takes the extra water with it.

Keeping this up, got rid of extra water.
