Narcolepsy with cataplexy

Posted By Anna (Tennessee) on 06/11/2017

Hi, I was wondering if you know of any natural treatments for narcolepsy with cataplexy. The primary cause is that the brain doesn't make hypocretin (aka orexin), which allows for deep sleep. Basically, it causes too much REM stage sleep. Would love to find something to correct the sleep deficit. But even something like a stimulant for daytime use would be helpful, to at least combat the effects of the sleep deficit. Thanks-

Hi Anna I'm actually facing a situation somehow like yours with someone, she falls asleep after eating meals, she falls asleep and she loses the strength in her muscles of legs and hands, when I give her Q10 she backs to awareness withing 5 minutes, she regains her energy and becomes aware again, she takes Q10 along with b6/b12 - magnesium - B3, but I think Q10 plays the significant role . Hope it also helps you, I know how it feels, please write back if it helps .
