Remedies Needed for Cloudy Urine and Pain After Taking Multiple Antibiotics

Posted By L N (Uk) on 11/01/2017

I have just come out of hospital where I was given 7 different antibiotics plus various other meds after a wrong prescription gave me 2 litres of glucose at 4% over two nights, The infection I had when I was admitted got much worse, as my blood sugar is always high anyway. Now I am no longer taking any anti-biotics and notice that urine is cloudy, almost milky and urination painful. This all cleared up for a day or so when no longer taking a/b s (Flagyl) but feels as if it is coming back. Urine has a chemical smell and white again after returning to normal yesterday for a whole day. Eating a low carb diet, mainly veg with some live yoghourt and spices.

LN, make sure you are drinking extra water with a few grains of Celtic salt for each cup. But also ask the doc.

Some things I would do to remove excess medications from the system would be:

activated charcoal - 2 capsules with a glass of water a couple of times a day, 2 hours away from any medications

dandelion tea - several cups a day

Epsom Salt baths - 1 cup Epsom salt in a warm bath several times a week

Light exercise if able

Thank you, that makes good sense to me, and I had never thought of dandelion tea despite having lived in France and learned how highly the purifying dandelion (piss-en-lit) is valued there - the leaves eaten as a kind of frisee salad. In April/May there are many gatherers out with their baskets - topping up vitamin D as they work!
