Reflux and Throat Clearing Problem After Antibiotics

Hi, I experienced cellulitis in my toe 3-4 weeks ago and was hospitalised on oral and IV penicillin - I noticed the lump in throat feeling immediately with the oral tablets and now, how many weeks on, I have a feeling like I need to clear throat but can't clear it, cough trying to clear it, doesn't work and now a mild wheeze which doctor has investigated with stethoscope and said my lungs heart Etc is ok so must be an episode of Silent reflux. I also have a slight husk sound in my voice. They gave me Zantac and said it will go away on its own which I'm not confident about. I'm adamant this started from the antibiotic and doctor said probably upset me gastricly as very strong and I was sick in the stomach every day I was on them. Im taking a strong probiotic (500billion) and although the original symptoms I have with burping, regurgitating etc have gone, my slight huskiness in my voice and the wheeze is worrying me. Did you all seek ENT referral and gastro specialists referral to confirm diagnosis or just go off what the GP said?

I would try high doses of vitamin C 5,000mg or more, it sounds too easy, but it is remarkable the benefits from it.
