Question about pressure on head

Posted By Charles (Fife, Scotland) on 01/17/2015

I have pressure on my head (usually just above the temples) as if I had cling film wrapped tightly around my head. It is like mild skull crushing, but there is no pain. It is not a headache.

Does anyone have any idea what it might be?

Charles, try drinking a little more water than you normally do.

Charles, it is possible we are experiencing the same problem. Mine had started almost 6-8 years ago. It is exactly as you describe, it is not a pain but a pressure. Charles, is the pressure relieved when you press your hand against your head or press your head against a hard surface like a wall or when lying down on the ground? I have much to say on the subject but I am busy at the moment. I will write more later. When have you started to feel the pressure and what do you think had caused it?

I also want to ask you about other symptoms and health problems you have been experiencing, even if they seem unrelated.

Another question that I have, is whether the pressure worsens after you are exposed to a strong wind, especially a cold one.

My another expectation would be that the pressure is weakest after waking up in the morning and gradually worsens during the day. Is this correct?

I know this is an old post, but I have been going through head pressure for the past few years and would love any info!

I feel like position affects it a lot. I can't lay on my left side at all. It feels like it's somehow linked to my back pain.

I constantly feel like I'm under water.
