Post-Covid Heat Rashes in Teen Going On 1 Year, Please Help!

Posted By Sheilabeela (Houston TX) on 08/11/2022

PLEASE HELP ME! My teen is burning from the inside out. No doctors have been able to help. This started a month after having Covid in Aug 2021. He will sometimes experience a rash but alot if times it barely noticeable and he feels like he is on fire. He jumps in the shower to spray himself with cold water but it feels like room temperature to him. When he tries to put lotion on, it burns his skin. He is taking Zurtec and famotidine.

At one period it seemed to calm it, but not anymore. They thought it was hives, but now they are confused.

We have been to 2 Dermatologist, allergist, cariologist and now getting brain MRI and bloodwork with a neurologist. Has anybody ever heard of this? It's going on a year and he cannot function as a normal kid. Thank you.

Dear Sheilabeela,

My first thought is nettle leaf. It has healed my children from many problems including skin issues and allergies. It is quite safe; a plant food. I would try 4 capsules twice daily - NOW and Nature's way are my favorite brands of this. (Note - not nettle root, nettle leaf.) If he notices immediate results and they wane before the next dose, it is fine to take it as often as needed.

Second of all, coconut oil has helped my family with chronic or flares of viruses. 1-3 teaspoons twice daily. Use organic cold pressed coconut oil that smells like coconut. It can be added to smoothies, stir fry's or just taken off the spoon to get it over with.

A BHT supplement may help to get rid of the lingering virus.

Because it is a skin issue and possible a nerve issue, burdock root might also be of use. Burdock root is a food in some cultures. 2 capsules of this twice daily is what I took to heal a chronic nerve pain problem.

Because he has had this a while, it may take a month to see results from natural remedies, though I am hopeful that nettle would give some results much sooner than that.

Please let me know how it goes.

Would ivermectin help? its a 5 day oral treatment. usually taken same day as zinc. If you try it, maybe try it Not the same day as BHT, and a few hours away from the nettle leaf capsules.

I would definitely have your son follow the Long Covid i-Recovery treatment protocol from FLCCC. I saw on their website a “CNS” phenotype listed for long Covid symptoms, which means the central nervous system can be affected, which sounds like is the case with your son. Ivermectin is very effective and safe. I've used it on three occasions with much success.

Here's the link to the protocol- https://covid19criticalcare.com/covid-19-protocols/i-recover-long-covid-treatment/
