Dare I Try to Heal a Tooth Destined for Extraction? URGENT!

Question about molar extraction

Hi Please could someone urgently advise me about whether I have to have my molar extracted.

Two nights of agony (except I relieved it with first hours of umeboshi plums on top of the tooth total relief of pain and then after about half an hour of nothing, application of propolis sheet like chewing gum.)which also entirely relieved pain.

I had an x- ray yesterday and my dentist said I should have a root canal treatment -as I have already had that 100% negative experience ending with extraction, I said no so he said then I must take it out.

But now I am wondering if I could at least try to heal the infection. I am on antibiotics but I would like to try the Bentonite Clay and the propolis externally and internally and tons of salt water ie sea water to drink and use as a mouth wash and vit c in mega quantities and pycknogenal and echinacea and vit D and quercetin and oregano capsules.

Does anyone know if its possible to heal an infection that the dentist has prescribed to remove and if it is dangerous to try to heal it. What if I try to heal it and then in one week go for another xray and if it is no better or even worse, then have it extracted. Also if I feel the pain getting even worse even after 2 more days then I could have it taken out.... Should n´t I at least try - it´s a huge thing to take out a tooth.

Thank you so much to all

I am so sorry you're suffering! Been there, done that. I just submitted a Post the other day about how I healed a tooth abscess that has gone down to my jawbone. I will keep this short about how I healed it:

1 clove garlic, chopped up and left to sit for 10 mins;

then just chug it down with 8oz water with 1/4tsp baking soda and juice of 1 lime or lemon (approx 1tsp);

followed by a cup of green tea (no sugar).

Do this 4x/day for a couple days, then scale back to 3x. This will take 7-10 days to clear up.

Also - spend some time in the Tooth Abscess thread here - tons of good suggestions!

Take care.
