Possible Inguinal Hernia Pushing on Testicle - Seeking Remedies to Help

Posted By Bluessky777 (New York) on 10/03/2021

Hi,

Earlier in the year I noticed a protrusion near the left testicle area, didn’t know what was happening. Sometimes the testicular area would seem tighter as well. Had an ultrasound some months ago, nothing was found, except fatty liver (have cut back on honey and sugars, was having too much honey and chocolate for awhile), bloodwork showed higher cholesterol and low thyroid (I eat healthfully, (grass fed beef, fish, eggs sometimes, many vegetables, coconut oil, olive oil, butter, limited refined carbohydrates). My thyroid is now normal and I lost a little under 20 lbs.

I noticed that the hernia does recede when lying down and even sometimes when getting up after sleeping, things seem normal…then after awhile, it comes out again.

My digestion is affected, is slower, and I can sense rumbling in my intestines, sometimes especially with fats and fibers.I can feel my energy is different, feeling anxious at times, also less energy at other times.

I’m very interested in the subject of energy and healing. I know that stress, emotions have affected me as well.

I’m also interested in the comfrey poultice. Can you use each poultice more than once, and how many do those who have used them usually order?

I’m also interested in the Stem-Kine.

Any info, tips are greatly appreciated.

I have an appointment with a doctor again, though it’s not for a few weeks more, and a specialist a few months from now.

Thanks for your input,

BluesSky777 🙏💜

Dear Bluesky,

I don't think comfrey poultices can be reused. I make them fresh daily when I use them. (Perhaps it is different with store bought poultices?)

You could try Dr. Christophers Complete Bone and Tissue Ointment. It has comfrey root and is quite potent. You would just apply the salve to the hernia several times a day.

Hi Mama to Many,

Thanks very much. What material do you use to make your poultices?

I‘ve seen comfrey online from Frontier herbs.Dr. Christopher also has a comfrey ointment, with just comfrey, olive oil and beeswax.

Dear Bluesky,

Comfrey from Frontier should be good stuff!

To make a poultice with dried herb here is what I do.

I either use quality paper towels - like Bounty, or squares of a clean cut up t-shirt.

Put a tablespoon or two of the dried comfrey into a mug. Add boiling water to the comfrey, just enough to soak it. Let it sit for 10 minutes. Place the wet herb onto your towel or fabric. Fold over so the herb is contained. When cool enough for the skin, place against skin. I usually put a layer of cling wrap next to try and keep the poultice from leaking. I use cohesive tape or the top of a sock to secure the poultice in place. Unfortunately, that isn't always easy to do. I did see on amazon special strap things for hernias. That might be helpful for securing it onto the skin. You could try using poultices over night. During the day may not be practical.

If you are the diligent type, you could try this nightly. I have no idea how long it would take to help. It would depend on the size of the hernia, your age, health, etc. It seems like it could take weeks or even months.

The comfrey salve would be a good daytime option. Or you could just try that at first and apply it several times a day.

The comfrey from frontier can also be made into a tea. Taking comfrey internally is controversial, so perhaps read about it if you are incline to try it. Personally I am comfortable with it and do use it internally when I am trying to heal something, or even just because it is highly nutritive. I have a comfrey plant and love to use the fresh leaves in smoothies.

Also it is important to give your body plenty of building blocks so it can do self - repair. (As an adult I had an umbilical hernia that healed itself over time, so I do think hernias can heal! )

Some important things would be vitamin C and collagen or bone broth. In general, high nutrient foods and little in the way of processed foods.

I hope the comfrey will work for you! Keep us posted!

OK, guys, this is not and NEVER WILL BE a "heal itself issue" as it is a torn muscle beyond natural repair/healing. Hernias like this NEVER heal themselves. This is a structural issue (torn open muscle that allows the intestine to protrude into the inguinal space). SURGICAL REPAIR IS YOUR ONLY OPTION.

I have watched patients ignore this and try other things until they end up with a serious (life threatening) pinched/necrotic (dead) section of bowel. Get the necessary care or pay the price. There is no way to "heal this" without getting it surgically repaired...this is SERIOUS AND NOT TO BE PLAYED WITH. You can last a while, maybe years, but it is NOT a matter of if but when you will face serious complications with this.

Go get an exam from a competent doctor and they will have you standing and poke a finger up into your inguinal space and have you cough, they'll feel the bulge...simple surgery, fast recovery.

Good luck and happy healing after the repair. :)
